The InspiraTEC 2025 award ceremony was attended by Project GWR.

The event took place at Usach and was attended by various university officials, as well as representatives from the Ministry of Economy.

At the launch of the InspiraTEC award, the GWR Project presented a stand that attracted a great deal of interest. It showcased research proposals for the treatment and reuse of domestic greywater.

Attendees were particularly interested to learn that the system is installed in a full-scale pilot house that is self-sustaining in terms of energy consumption, thanks to solar panels, improved thermal and acoustic insulation, and green walls and roofs that are irrigated with treated greywater.

There was a consensus on the importance of finding solutions to mitigate the water crisis. High expectations were generated regarding the final results of the research, which will be available by the end of the year.

Chemical engineer Nadia Aguila explains the scope of the GWR project to Claudia Sanhueza, the undersecretary for international economic relations.
